The Dobson Fly is local favorite to the Snowy Mountain Trout, Especially
on the Thredbo River. This insect tends to be a poor flier it flutters
above the water giving Trout a fantastic plump target. The takes
are aggressive so always pay attention to your fly. I have seen
browns swim across large pools to feed on these tasty insects. This
Fly has been a successful secret in Murray's Fly box, so give it
a try you won't be disappointed.
